- Comments:
- In the early eighties I saw an ad in the paper for ultralight
instruction at Arlington Airport. My curiosity landed me in a
training program to learn to fly the B1-RD (In a C172 no less!).
After about six hours I was hooked but I didn't feel ready for
the responsibility of ownership. Skip ahead to 92', a Private
Pilots license, a great GA ride, but still no ultralight. I've
studied and read everything that I could get my hands on about
ultralights. I'm getting closer to a model decision every day.
I'll keep you posted...
Update:
I just bought a very well preserved Wizard J3. More to follow as re-training progresses.
