Change the FLY-UL profile of John Caffrey
Administrative section
The top portion of this form is treated differently than the bottom portion. The info up here is used by the software, and is technically not a part of your profile. This is why you must enter your Name and e-mail address twice. Its mildly annoying, but I think its a small price to pay. Just cut 'n paste. :-)
Your Name:
Your E-Mail address:
Your password:
(This one I'm not gonna fill in!)
;-)
Verify your password:
(Type it again)
Remember, the password is case sensitive!
The following math question must be answered correctly in order for the changes to your profile to be processed:
2 + 2 =
(input answer as a number, do not spell it out)
Changing your profile requires you to enter your unique ID.
Profile section
This is the second portion of the form. All of the fields below are optional. If you don't want to fill in a particular field, then don't! :-) Any fields that you leave blank won't even show up on your profile when people view it. A few of the fields on this form are special. Whatever you enter into these special fields will become a hyperlink. What you enter will be the destination of the link, as well as its description. You can have more than one item in these fields. A space or a carridge return will seperate them. These fields will be marked with this annoying LED:
(And you will like it!!!) ;-)

Description/Explanation of the "other" home page(s):
What aviation organizations are you a member of?
What is your age?
How many years have you been in Aviation?
How many GA hours do you have?
How many UL hours do you have?
Ratings (FAA and/or UL):
Where do you fly from? (What is your "home field"?)
What do you currently own or fly?
I purchased plans for the TEAM AirBike and will power it with my half-vw engine. The engine will be running by spring 1998 and I hope to begin fabrication of the airframe shortly.
What have you owned or flown previously?
What are some of your other hobbies?
I currently build and race formula vee road racing cars with the Sportscar Club of America (SCCA) and finished second in the 1997 Mid-Atlantic Road Racing Series with two wins. My sponsors want me to compete in the national series to qualify for the national championship in 1998 and that is my excuse for not showing more progress on my aviation projects.
What do you do for a living?
Officially I am a Senior Engineering Technician in the Chemical Engineering Department at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA but functionally I am a machinist/fabricator of equipment for research and our undergraduate Unit Operations Lab. No chance of getting bored here.
Additional comments:
I have enjoyed the Fly-Ul list for over a year now and have learned much from the experts here and can only hope that my occasional contributions are appreciated as much. Although still a wanabe with a set of plans and half an engine the desire is strong and will carry me through this long building project.

Extra:
Here's a section that I thought some of you may want to take advantage of... You can post pictures, sounds, and videos of yourself, your ultralight, etc. You can do this in two different ways. First, you can have this stuff on your own server and enter its URL in the boxes below.
(Don't forget the leading "http://"!)
Another way is to enter a filename in the boxes below, and then send that file to me. I'll make it accessible on my server. For more information about how to send binary files to me,
